Yahoo Finance.com reports that Green Star Products, Inc. 400,000 liter microalgae demonstration facility in Montana has completed Phase I. With Phase I complete it has been successful in controlling the variables necssary in algae production, including all initial costs of construction. Phase I will continue to solve the operational problems associated with microalgae production, because as algae would not interfere with food crops, it may be the only long term solution for biodiesel production.

Green Star Products announced that they have formed Green Star International, Inc., a joint venture company, with Pure Energy Corporation and Bio-Clean Fuels, Inc., to build multiple biorefineries around the world.

Green Star Products announced that they are developing biodiesel and/or ethanol refineries in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Florida, Idaho, Washington and California, and that they have finalized negotiations to develop capacity of 500 million gallons within five years.
