    Global Interest Reported to Green Star Products Regarding Algae Biodiesel

    Yahoo Finance.com reports countries such as Spain, China, Brazil, Australia and Canada, among many others have expressed interest to Green Star Products, Inc. regarding algae biodiesel.  Continental Airlines’ two-minute documentary shown on flights around the world, and a fifteen-minute interview with CEO Joseph LaStella presented have been credited as the media events sparking recent global interest in algae biodiesel.

    Jones Soda Inc. Unseats Coca-Cola at Qwest Field in Seattle, WA

    Yahoo Finance.com reports that Jones Soda Co. will become an official sponsor of the Seattle Seahawks at Qwest Field.  Jones Soda Co.,a beverage company known for their limited edition flavors and bright colored labels, recently signed a five-year deal with Qwest Field to be the sole non-alcoholic beverage concession sold at the field.  Fans will be able to purchase their beverage as a fountain soda, in cans, or plastic bottles, being created especially for the stadium.  Customized glass bottles featuring the team will be available in various stores.

    Green Star Products, Inc Reports Algae May Not be the Answer

    Yahoo Finance.com reports that while biodiesel from algae can produce 50-100 times more oil per acre than oil from crops such as corn or soybeans, Green Star Products, Inc. claims biodiesel algae will only meet a small percentage of the world’s increasing demand for fuel.

    Cosi Reports Loss Widened in the First Quarter

    Yahoo Finance.com reports that Cosi, a sandwich chain, recently reported its loss widened by 1 cent per share despite the 8% revenue boost.  This los has been attributed to costs of newly opened restaurants that have not yet reached their expected operating levels.  Jeffrey Farmer, a CIBC analyst, says the company’s agressive development plan led to abandonment of training and hiring selection, corrective action is underway at this time.

    Bravo! Brands Inc. to Host Conference Call for First Quarter Financial Results

    Yahoo Finance.com reports that Bravo! Brands Inc. will host a conference call on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at 4:15 pm EST to discuss the First Quarter 2007 financial results.  Bravo! Brands Inc., is a development and marketing company for vitamin-fortified, flavored milk drinks and other beverages.
